Barbora Baková

Barbora is an aspiring public affairs professional, with a diverse background in Law, International Relations and Economy. She is supporting Aretera’s Czech practice with public policy monitoring, political and policy analysis, as well as reporting to clients across different sectors.
Prior to joining Aretera, Barbora gained experience from one of the largest Czech (and Slovak) law firms, HAVEL & PARTNERS, where she was focusing on civil law issues. Later she joined the Legal Department of Czech-US software company GoodData, which focuses on the development of analytics platforms.
Her experience in the public sector includes a previous placement at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Cairo, supporting the Political and Economic Section of the Czech diplomatic mission, organizing events and exploring opportunities of cooperation.
Barbora is currently finishing her degree in Law and International Relations with Economy at Masaryk University in Brno. She is fluent in Czech, English and French.
