Daulet has 7+ years of experience in public service, policy analysis, state statistics and foreign relations. At Aretera, he specializes in cross-sectoral policy analysis and issues monitoring for clients in the tech and FMCG sectors, overseeing a number of projects in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

Prior to joining Aretera, Daulet worked in the Economic Research Institute of the Government of Kazakhstan. As Deputy Director of the Institute’s Center for Trade Policy Development, he participated in a number of government programs, examined draft economic legislation and took part in the drafting of the 2023 state of the nation address of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in 2023. Previously, he worked at the Ministry for Investment and Development where he was responsible for relations with the largest business associations in Kazakhstan on regulatoryissues. Daulet participated in the developmentof several of Kazakhstan’s international treaties on the mutual protection of investments.

Daulet is an economist by profession, holding a Master of Public Policy, while he has written several scientific papers on inequality and foreign direct investment. He won the global ambassador scholarship program from the government of the Republic of Korea. He also received analytical training from the OSCE, the IMF, and the Senate (upper house) of the Parliament of Kazakhstan.
