Aretera is seeking an experienced Public Affairs Consultant in Healthcare to support our work with leading pharmaceutical and healthcare sector clients in Hungary. The position offers flexibility between part-time and full-time engagement, depending on the candidate’s profile and availability.
Key responsibilities
- Policy & advocacy: Monitor and interpret policy, legislative and regulatory developments affecting the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries in Hungary.
- Stakeholder engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships with policymakers, regulators, and key industry actors.
- Strategy & advisory: Develop advocacy strategies, policy recommendations and communication materials in coordination with Aretera’s local and regional teams.
- Insight & analysis: Provide expert briefings and guidance on emerging health policy issues for clients.
Qualifications & Skills
- Solid experience in public affairs, government relations, or policy advisory in the healthcare or pharmaceutical sector.
- Excellent understanding of Hungarian health policy and regulatory frameworks.
- Established network of professional relationships within relevant government and industry circles.
- Fluency in Hungarian and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, communication and relationship-building skills.
- High professional integrity and a self-driven, collaborative work style.
