Krisztián is an Advisor at Aretera, covering Hungary and supporting the Budapest team with political and policy analysis, as well as regulatory monitoring. His background is in international economy and macroeconomics, before switching to consultancy on joining the Aretera team in 2024.

Krisztián gained his early work experience at Diageo Hungary and completed an economic policy internship at the Makronóm Institute in Budapest, where he assisted the policy-making processes of Hungary’s Ministry of National Economy. In this role, he focused on research projects and policy work on the Hungarian SME sector. He also participated in projects with a geopolitical focus, researching the impact of geo-economic fragmentation.

Krisztán holds a Bachelor Degree from the Budapest Business University in International Business with a major in Economic Diplomacy. His BA thesis focused on the relations of the Visegrád countries with the Western Balkans.
