Lana is a regional public affairs specialist, with a background in journalism and civil society. As Regional Director for Adria and the Western Balkans, Lana leads our growing regional team and practice. She manages relationships with our growing portfolio of regional clients and oversee engagement with government and regulatory bodies. She is also responsible for business development initiatives and strengthening Aretera's position as the leading advisory firm in Southeast Europe.

Prior to joining Aretera, Lana worked with a number of clients across multiple industry sectors, including international organizations, streaming platforms, IT, and professional services. She started her career as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Talas, a Serbian news portal covering politics, economy and business. She has held several research and analytical positions, including at the Serbian Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability, and Arthur D. Little, a US-based management consulting company. Most recently, she has worked at Brasidas Group, a Switzerland-based business intelligence firm as the company’s Lead HUMINT Analyst.

Lana holds a Bachelor and Masters degree from the University of Belgrade where she studied Political Science and International Relations. She is fluent in Serbian and English with basic understanding of Spanish and German.
