Lana is a Senior Advisor at Aretera, covering Serbia and the Western Balkans. Her background is in journalism and civil society, before switching to consultancy, supporting large corporations navigate complex regulatory landscapes in the region.

Responsibilities at Aretera

  • political and policy analysis, regulatory monitoring, and strategic planning,

  • management of client relations in Serbia and the Western Balkans.

Professional experience
Prior to joining Aretera, Lana worked with a number of clients across multiple industry sectors, including international organizations, streaming platforms, IT, and professional services. She started her career as the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Talas, a Serbian news portal covering politics, economy and business. She has held several research and analytical positions, including at the Serbian Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability, and Arthur D. Little, a US-based management consulting company. Most recently, she has worked at Brasidas Group, a Switzerland-based business intelligence firm as the company’s Lead HUMINT Analyst.

Background

Lana holds a Bachelor and Masters degree from the University of Belgrade where she studied Political Science and International Relations.
