Madi Dautbek

Madi is an experienced government relations consultant with a focus on the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors, with over 12 years of professional experience in the private, non-profit and government sectors. He provides senior counsel to a range of clients across Central Asia, devising and implementing engagement and advocacy strategies in a constantly changing regulatory environment. Madi is a pharmaceutical manager by training with advanced analytical and negotiations skills.
Prior to joining Aretera, Madi managed and implemented numerous projects as Head of Market Access and Government Relations at an international pharmaceutical company. Previously, he worked as a business development and healthcare development manager for government-affiliated organizations and private pharma companies in Kazakhstan, and as a strategic development manager in Uzbekistan, working closely with key stakeholders in both countries, including their Ministries of Healthcare and patient organizations.
In 2016, Madi was a UNICEF project manager, working in an organization subordinate to the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan.
Madi is a member of advisory bodies to the Ministry of Health and Parliament and closely works with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs.
