Meirambek is a seasoned communications professional and policy advisor specializing in the information and communication sector, supporting Fortune 500 companies and major digital platforms. Supporting relations between investors and governments across Central Asia, he ensures compliance with local laws on information policy and digital governance.
Having previously worked at the Government Bodies Effectiveness Evaluation Centre, Meirambek has specialized in analyzing the interaction between public bodies and citizens using a data-driven approach. As a member of the inter-ministerial Committee on Access to Information, under the leadership of the Minister of Information, he has contributed to the development of the state policy on transparency and openness of public authorities, encouraging greater public participation in the review of government documents at the formative stage.
Meirambek also brings expertise in media analysis, having monitored public discourse on socio-political issues and provided analytical support to strengthen the competitiveness of the national information sector. His work has contributed to meeting the standards of the Open Government Partnership, furthering the goals of accountability and civic engagement.
A graduate of the University of Sheffield, a Russell Group institution in the UK, Meirambek holds a Master’s degree in International Public and Political Communication. He also graduated from the Turan Astana University (Master in Management) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Bachelor of Laws).
