Energy Leaders to Discuss Future of LNG at the 4th Budapest LNG Summit March 31, 2023
Budapest, Hungary
Aretera is pleased to support the Budapest LNG Summit, a major sectoral conference in Central & Eastern Europe, to be hosted on 3 April, 2023 in Budapest, Hungary. The conference will bring together top-level industry leaders, experts and policymakers from all over the world to discuss the driving trends of the LNG and gas market.
The current energy crisis has put security of supply firmly on the agenda as international prices have risen to record highs. The crisis also led to increased demand for liquefied natural gas (LNG), which plays a critical role in providing flexibility of supply. Amidst the uncertainty, it is important to come together and address the most pressing questions of the future of the gas market.
How have supply and demand dynamics shifted, and what does the future hold for the LNG industry?
The Budapest LNG Summit is focusing on the up and coming LNG region of CEE, connecting regional demand with the international supply chain. The conference is a well established meeting point of major gas and LNG stakeholders from the CEE region and beyond, who will come together on 4 April in Budapest to review how the sector has coped so far with the challenges and adjusted to the new normal.
Speakers include: · Teodora Georgieva, Executive officer and Board Member of ICGB AD, who will present how the Interconnector Greece Bulgaria transforms the energy map of the region and contributes to regional and European energy security; · Franck Neel, Member of the Executive Board of OMV Petrom, who will speak about the potential of Black Sea resources contributing to the region’s energy security; · Mykola Kolisnyk, Deputy Minister of Energy of Ukraine, will speak about the state of the country’s energy infrastructure and how to rebuild it; · Imran Mohammed from the Gas Market Analysis Department of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF), who will present their outlook of the global gas market. .
