Leposava Ognjanoska

Leposava is a public affairs specialist with a strong background in European integration. She brings experience from both the think-tank and government sectors, including strategic communications and stakeholder engagement.

In her role at Aretera, she supports clients in North Macedonia through regulatory monitoring, strategic advice and outreach to governmental bodies.

Prior to joining Aretera, Leposava served as International Affairs Advisor at the Cabinet of the Minister of Defence and as Special Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, contributing directly to negotiation processes and the European integration agenda. Earlier, she worked at the European Policy Institute on rule-of-law and governance initiatives, and at the Special Public Prosecutor’s Office on high-profile corruption and organised crime cases.

Leposava holds a PhD in EU Law and European Integration from the Faculty of Law “Iustinianus Primus” in Skopje. In addition to her legal and policy expertise, she has taught at university level and published on contemporary European affairs.
