Seval Demir

Country Director, Türkiye

Seval is an experienced public affairs professional specializing in government relations, regulatory affairs, and market access, with over 15 years of executive experience across multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

 

In addition to deep expertise in the Turkish market, she has led regional portfolios across multiple developing markets-advising on complex regulatory pathways, market access strategies and translating policy dynamics into actionable business strategies.

 

She has a proven track record of enabling international companies to enter and scale in Türkiye while fostering effective, cross‑institutional cooperation among government bodies.

 

Before joining Aretera in 2022, Seval advised leading pharmaceutical and FMCG companies on market entry and regulatory strategy in Türkiye, supporting end‑to‑end execution from policy assessment to implementation.

 

As Country Director for Türkiye, Seval leads Aretera’s growing team and practice. She manages relationships with an expanding portfolio of multinational clients and oversees engagement with government and regulatory bodies.

 

She also currently serves as a Board Member of the Health Products Association (SURDER) in Türkiye, contributing to industry dialogue on healthcare policy.

 

Seval holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, where she focused on process design, renewable energy and sustainability.

 

She received a DAAD scholarship to the University of Bayreuth, Germany, where she participated in a scientific research project. She is fluent in Turkish and English with a basic understanding of German.
