Professional experience

Seval has expertise in the field of regulatory affairs, market access and government relations in healthcare, but also a cluster of additional industry sectors. For more than 15 years, she has held executive roles in multinational pharmaceutical and medical device companies. In addition to her Turkish market experience, Seval also has extensive international and regional experience, having been responsible for a wide range of developing markets. Before joining Aretera in 2022, Seval was advising leading pharmaceutical and FMCG companies on market entry and regulatory issues in Turkey.

Seval is also a Board Member of the Health Products Association (SURDER) in Turkey.

Background

Seval holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Istanbul Technical University. During her studies, she focused on renewable energy sources, environment and sustainability. She had received a DAAD scholarship from the University of Bayreuth, Germany for participating in a scientific project.

Seval is fluent in Turkish and English and also has a solid understanding of German.
