Azad has over 15 years of experience in public policy, government relations and strategic communications in the region. He previously worked for the Government of Azerbaijan, the United Nations and the World Health Organisation in various policy and communication roles.
Azad has consulted a number of public and private sector clients in the South Caucasus region, specializing in tech, digitalisation, health and transportation sectors. He studied in the UK, US, and Austria, earning a PhD in Political Economy from the Central European University in Vienna. He fluently speaks Azeri, English, Turkish and Russian.
